Today we give thanks to the Lord for being a shield for Rev. J Davis. He was accidentally shot in the shoulder last month in P.H. while some policemen were chasing and shooting a group of recalcitrants. It was a miracle that he escaped death.

"Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name."
I will give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name,
And make known to others what He has done.
I will sing to Him, sing praises to Him,
And tell of all His wonderful acts. (1 Chronicles 16:8-9)
I know that the Lord has set apart the godly for Himself;
The Lord hears when I call to Him. (Psalm 4:3)
